Harrison Millard (1830–1895) was an American composer who wrote the music to the Christian hymn, “Abide with Me, ‘Tis Eventide”.
Millard was born in Boston and taught music in New York City. He served in the Union forces in the American Civil War and was wounded at theBattle of Chickamauga.
Among other works by Millard was a four act opera entitled “Deborah”.
